EcomaxBay  Multivendor Marketplace Refund Policy

At EcomaxBay, we strive to ensure a satisfying shopping experience for all our buyers. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be issued and the process for requesting them. By using EcomaxBay, both buyers and sellers agree to abide by this policy.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

- Defective or Damaged Products: If a product is received in a defective or damaged condition, buyers are eligible for a full refund.

- Incorrect Items: If the item received is significantly different from the product description or not what was ordered, buyers may request a refund.

- Non-Delivery: If a product does not arrive within the specified delivery timeframe, buyers are entitled to a refund.

- Returns: If the seller has a return policy that allows for refunds upon return of the product, buyers may be eligible for a refund once the product is returned in accordance with the seller’s policy.

2. Refund Process

a. Requesting a Refund:

- Initiation: To initiate a refund, buyers must contact the seller directly through EcomaxBay’s messaging system within [insert number] days of receiving the product.

- Documentation: Buyers should provide clear evidence of the issue, such as photographs of damaged items or screenshots of incorrect listings.

b. Seller Response:

- Review: Sellers must review the refund request and respond within 03 working days. They should evaluate the claim based on the evidence provided and their return/refund policy.

- Approval or Denial: If the seller approves the refund request, they will instruct the buyer on how to return the item (if applicable) and process the refund. If the request is denied, the seller must provide a clear explanation.

c. Refund Issuance:

- Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used by the buyer. 

- Timeline: Once approved, refunds should be processed within 07 working days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in the buyer’s account may vary depending on the payment provider.

3. Conditions and Exceptions

- Return Shipping Costs: In cases where the return is due to a defect or error by the seller, the seller is responsible for return shipping costs. For returns due to buyer’s remorse, the buyer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

- Condition of Returned Items: Products must be returned in their original condition, including packaging, tags, and any accessories. Products that are used, altered, or not in their original condition may not qualify for a full refund.

- Non-Refundable Items: Certain items may be non-refundable, including perishable goods, digital products, and personalized items. Sellers should clearly indicate non-refundable items in their product listings.

4. Disputes and Escalations

If a buyer and seller cannot reach an agreement regarding a refund, the buyer may escalate the issue to EcomaxBay customer support. 

- Escalation Process: To escalate a dispute, buyers should provide all relevant information and documentation to customer support.

- Mediation: EcomaxBay will review the case and may mediate between the buyer and seller to reach a resolution. The decision made by EcomaxBay in such cases will be final.

5. Seller Policies

Each seller on EcomaxBay may have their own return and refund policies that comply with EcomaxBay’s overall guidelines. Buyers are encouraged to review individual seller policies before making a purchase. 

- Policy Disclosure: Sellers must clearly state their return and refund policies on their product listings. 

- Compliance: All seller policies must comply with local consumer protection laws and EcomaxBay’s terms and conditions.
